  • Performance and analytics (GTM and GA4): If enabled, we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 to track aggregate, anonymous site usage (e.g., page views, session duration, and general browser type). We have enabled IP anonymization to ensure your full IP address is never stored. You can opt-out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the official Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or by blocking trackers via your browser privacy settings.
  • Workshop progress (local storage): Your progress in guided workshops (including current step index, completed steps, and checklists) is saved 100% locally in your own browser's localStorage database. This progress data remains entirely on your device, is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party, and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser data or using browser developer tools.
  • Feedback and comments (Giscus): Comment sections on workshops are powered by Giscus, a third-party commenting system built on GitHub Discussions. To post a comment or report a workshop issue, you must authenticate using your GitHub account. Giscus will process your GitHub username, profile avatar, and comment text. This interaction is subject to GitHub's Privacy Statement.

3. Cookies and local identifiers

We do not set first-party marketing or tracking cookies. Google Analytics sets third-party cookies to identify unique user sessions anonymously. Giscus and GitHub may set cookies when you authenticate to submit feedback. You can configure your browser to reject cookies or delete them periodically.
