why? aviation meets ai

"my personal lab notebook on exploring the intersection of aerospace and machine learning."

why? aviation meets ai

why?

i started this blog as a personal lab notebook, a place to document my experiments at the intersection of the aerospace industry and ai/ml algorithms. what began as a private collection of notes has now evolved. my goal is to move beyond documenting in isolation and start connecting with like-minded people to learn, collaborate, and kickstart new projects.

living in the contrast

i find myself living in a fascinating contrast. on one hand, i am deeply passionate about aviation; on the other, i am captivated by the fast evolution of technology.

every time a new ai/ml breakthrough hits the headlines, my first thought is always the same: “how can we apply this to aviation?” it feels like living in the future while trying to upgrade the present.

the challenge of “critical technology”

the aerospace industry is inherently cautious—and for good reason. because it is a safety-critical field, progress is often slow. i realized this most clearly when looking at air traffic management (atm) systems. while the logic is incredibly complex, the underlying technology often feels ancient compared to something like web development, where frameworks and tools update almost weekly.

ℹ️ insight

the goal isn’t just to bring new tools to aviation; it’s to adapt them safely for systems where failure is not an option.

my mission

i want to explore how we can bridge that gap. this blog is about:

  • exploring ai/ml techniques that can modernize legacy systems.
  • documenting my hands-on experiments in aerospace tech.
  • sharing knowledge and finding partners for the next generation of flight technology.

if you are passionate about the future of aviation and cutting-edge tech, let’s connect. this is just the beginning.
